Gather all ingredients. In a small bowl, combine all Chili Sauce ingredients. Mix well, set aside.
In a medium sized sauce pot, heat 1 TBL vegetable oil on medium high heat.
Once hot, sauté the garlic, ginger, lemongrass for about a minute. Add laksa paste and continue mixing for another 2-3 minutes.
Add the chicken stock, coconut milk, fish sauce, and 2 Tsp of the laksa chili sauce. Bring to a low simmer. Add chicken or shrimp to the broth to heat up.
Noodles: Bring a medium sauce pot to boil. Add Angel Hair pasta to water and cook for about 1.5 minutes. Drain. Set it aside.
Serving: In a large soup bowl, place the noodles into bowl. Ladle broth over noodles. Add slices of lime, bean sprouts, tofu puffs and other toppings you desire. Enjoy.
